Kirk Ciarrocca is a football coach who currently serves as the offensive coordinator for the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers. He was born on January 19, 1965, in Lewisberry, Pennsylvania.
Ciarrocca began his coaching career as an assistant coach at Western Connecticut State University and Temple University, before moving on to work as the offensive coordinator at various schools including Delaware Valley College, Western Connecticut State, and Rutgers University.
In 2012, Ciarrocca was hired as the offensive coordinator at the University of Delaware, where he helped the team achieve a top 10 national ranking in total offense. He then moved on to become the offensive coordinator at the University of Minnesota in 2019.
Known for his innovative offensive schemes and ability to develop quarterbacks, Ciarrocca has earned a reputation as a top offensive mind in college football. He has been praised for his work with quarterback Tanner Morgan, who emerged as one of the top signal-callers in the Big Ten under Ciarrocca's tutelage.
